Das ZUCHTBUCH AQHA AUSTRIA / AQHA AUSTRIA STUDBOOK ermöglicht die digitale Antragstellung auf Ausstellung eines amtlichen Equidenpasses und stellt dabei die für Identifizierung, Dokumentation und Passausstellung erforderlichen Nachweise sicher.
The AQHA AUSTRIA STUDBOOK provides digital application for the issuance of an official equine passport and ensures that the evidence required for identification, documentation and passport issuance is provided.

Das vollständig ausgefüllte und bestätigte Abzeichendiagramm sowie die Chip-/Transponderbestätigung müssen als vollständige und eindeutig lesbare A4-PDF-Scans online übermittelt werden.
The fully completed and confirmed markings diagram and microchip/transponder confirmation must be submitted online as complete and clearly legible A4 PDF scans.
Für das AMERICAN QUARTER HORSE erfolgt die Ausstellung durch das ZUCHTBUCH AQHA AUSTRIA als zuständige anerkannte Zuchtorganisation innerhalb ihres behördlich anerkannten Tätigkeitsbereiches.
For the AMERICAN QUARTER HORSE, the passport is issued by the AQHA AUSTRIA STUDBOOK as the competent recognised breeding organisation within its officially approved scope of activity.
Für das AMERICAN PAINT HORSE erfolgt die Passausstellung durch das ZUCHTBUCH AQHA AUSTRIA im Rahmen der entsprechenden Beauftragung durch die zuständige Tierzuchtorganisation.
For the AMERICAN PAINT HORSE, passport issuance is carried out by the AQHA AUSTRIA STUDBOOK under the corresponding authorisation by the competent breeding organisation.
Ebenso können amtliche Equidenpässe für Pferde ohne oder noch ohne Rassenachweis ausgestellt werden.
Official equine passports may also be issued for horses without, or not yet holding, recognised breed documentation.
Bei Rassepferden enthält der amtliche Equidenpass bei Vorliegen der Voraussetzungen die nach dem EU-Tierzuchtrecht vorgesehene Tierzuchtbescheinigung.
For registered breeding animals, where the applicable requirements are met, the official equine passport includes the zootechnical certificate provided for under EU animal breeding legislation.

Die Identifizierung und Registrierung von Equiden ist unionsrechtlich geregelt. Die im Identifizierungsdokument und bei der zuständigen Stelle registrierten Angaben müssen den tatsächlichen Verhältnissen entsprechen.
The identification and registration of equidae is governed by EU law. The information recorded in the identification document and by the competent body must correspond to the actual circumstances.
Das betrifft insbesondere auch Änderungen wie einen Besitzer- bzw. Eigentumswechsel.
This applies in particular to changes such as a change of owner or ownership.
Wird ein Pferd mit einem bereits im Ausland ausgestellten Equidenpass nach Österreich gebracht und hier dauerhaft oder registrierungspflichtig längerfristig gehalten, müssen seine Identifizierungs- und Haltungsdaten entsprechend den gesetzlichen Vorgaben auch in Österreich erfasst werden.
If a horse with an equine passport already issued abroad is brought to Austria and kept here permanently, or for a longer period requiring registration, its identification and keeping details must also be recorded in Austria in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.
Dies gilt unabhängig davon, ob gleichzeitig ein Besitzer- bzw. Eigentumswechsel stattfindet.
This applies regardless of whether a change of owner or ownership takes place at the same time.

Die Bearbeitung beginnt erst, wenn sämtliche für den jeweiligen Vorgang erforderlichen Angaben und Nachweise vollständig, eindeutig und ordnungsgemäß vorliegen.
Processing begins only when all information and supporting documents required for the respective procedure have been submitted completely, clearly and correctly.
Fehlende Unterlagen, widersprüchliche Angaben oder nicht lesbare Dokumente können eine Bearbeitung verhindern bzw. eine Ergänzung oder Berichtigung erforderlich machen.

Erstausstellung für American Quarter Horse, American Paint Horse sowie für Pferde ohne oder noch ohne Rassenachweis.
First issue of an official equine passport for American Quarter Horses, American Paint Horses and horses without, or not yet holding, recognised breed documentation.
Abzeichendiagramm und Chip-/Transponderbestätigung vorbereiten und anschließend als vollständige, gut lesbare A4-PDF-Scans hochladen.
Prepare the markings diagram and microchip/transponder confirmation and upload both as complete, clearly legible A4 PDF scans.
2. Besitzerwechsel
Change of Ownership
Ändert sich Besitzer bzw. Eigentümer, müssen die Daten im Original-Equidenpass und in den vorgesehenen Datenbanken aktualisiert werden.
If the owner changes, the details must be updated in the original equine passport and in the relevant databases.
Benötigt werden das Begleitformular, der Originalpass sowie eine Kopie des Eigentumsnachweises.
Please submit the completed accompanying form, the original passport and a copy of suitable proof of ownership.

3. Pferd aus dem Ausland nach Österreich
Horse brought to Austria from abroad
Wird ein Pferd mit einem bereits im Ausland ausgestellten Equidenpass dauerhaft oder registrierungspflichtig längerfristig in Österreich gehalten, müssen seine Identifizierungs- und Haltungsdaten entsprechend den gesetzlichen Vorgaben auch in Österreich erfasst werden.
If a horse with an equine passport already issued abroad is kept permanently, or for a longer period requiring registration, in Austria, its identification and keeping details must also be recorded in Austria in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.
Die Registrierung kann auch erforderlich sein, wenn der im ausländischen Equidenpass eingetragene Besitzer weiterhin aktuell ist und kein Besitzerwechsel stattfindet.
Registration may also be required if the owner recorded in the foreign equine passport is still current and no change of ownership takes place.
Bitte das ausfüllbare PDF-Begleitformular herunterladen und vollständig ausfüllen. Das PDF kann direkt am Computer ausgefüllt und gespeichert oder ausgedruckt und handschriftlich ausgefüllt werden.
Anschließend das Formular ausdrucken und unterschreiben und gemeinsam mit dem Original-Equidenpass per Post an das ZUCHTBUCH AQHA AUSTRIA senden.

4. Pferdepass verloren
Equine Passport Lost
Bei Verlust kann die Ausstellung des erforderlichen Ersatz- bzw. Duplikatdokuments vollständig online beantragt werden.
If the equine passport has been lost, the required replacement or duplicate document can be applied for entirely online.
1. Amtliche Verlustmeldung / Official Loss Report
Ausgestellt bzw. bestätigt durch eine Behörde, z. B. Polizei oder Gemeinde/Kommune. Die Verlustmeldung muss eine eindeutige Zuordnung ermöglichen und zumindest den Namen des Pferdes enthalten.
Issued or confirmed by a public authority, e.g. police or municipality/local authority. The loss report must allow clear identification of the case and include at least the name of the horse.
2. Neue Chip-/Transponderbestätigung / New Microchip/Transponder Confirmation
Der vorhandene Transponder muss vom Tierarzt ausgelesen und bestätigt werden.
The existing transponder must be read and confirmed by the veterinarian.
3. Neues Abzeichendiagramm / New Markings Diagram
Das Abzeichendiagramm des Pferdes muss neu gezeichnet und bestätigt werden.
A new markings diagram of the horse must be completed and confirmed.
5. Papierantrag
Paper Application
Die Erstausstellung eines Equidenpasses kann weiterhin klassisch auf Papier beantragt werden.
The first issue of an equine passport can still be applied for using the traditional paper application.
Use the paper application if the required documents cannot be submitted as complete, clearly legible PDF scans or if you prefer not to use the online application.
